What application materials do reviewed elite US recruiting routes explicitly require?

The reviewed routes do not use one universal application package. Resume and transcript requirements recur, while undergraduate transcripts, cover letters, personal statements and stated practice interests vary by institution and route.

Reviewed routes

Cravath's associate/post-clerkship route publishes resume, law-school and undergraduate transcript requirements plus an area of interest (SIG-203). S&C's direct New York summer-associate route asks for a resume, transcript and cover letter (SIG-204). Milbank publishes resume, law-school transcript and cover-letter requirements for its 3L route (SIG-217). Simpson Thacher's current 3L route adds an undergraduate transcript (SIG-223). Evercore requires cover letters for campus applications (SIG-247). Paul Hastings' Fellowship has its own fellowship-specific document set (SIG-262).

What this does not prove

These requirements are programme- and cycle-specific. Fellowship, 3L, associate/post-clerkship, campus and ordinary summer-associate routes are not interchangeable.
