What do selective institutions test besides the written application?
In the foundational six-market sample, a test or structured assessment and an interview appear in every market sample. Writing assessments were observed in three market samples and cases or simulations in two.
Denominator
Six purposive market samples covering the UK, GCC, India, United States, Singapore and Hong Kong, each based on two to three institutions and different applicant pathways.
What this does not show
This does not establish national or sector prevalence. It does not mean every employer in a market uses the same sequence, or that the instruments have the same scoring weight or purpose.
