ECS Scholars Programme
A small number of scholarships. Awarded on merit alone.
Hundreds of applications a year. A small number of full scholarships. Each scholar receives the same private engagement as every ECS client, led by Hassan Akram.
Write to clients@accessecs.com with the candidate’s background, academic record and target career. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Eligibility and selection
Who the programme is for.
The programme is designed for exceptional candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds who would not otherwise have access to this level of advice.
Background
A low-income or disadvantaged background, typically state-educated.
Academic record
A high academic profile, with achieved or predicted grades that can compete for the most selective firms.
Ambition
A serious, considered aim of a career in law, investment banking, private capital or consulting.
Selection
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a formal interview before any scholarship is offered.

Why it exists
Talent is everywhere. Access is not.
The Scholars Programme is how ECS gives back. Each year it opens the advisory our private clients receive to a few exceptional candidates who would otherwise have no route into it. Every family that works with ECS is part of what makes that possible.
